2017年10月29日上午，Francisco José Sánchez-Sesma教授来访地球与空间科学系，并做了两个学术报告，题目分别为“Modeling and Inversion of the Microtremor H/V Spectral Ratio: the Physical Basis Behind the Diffuse Field Approach”、“Seismic Response of the Valley of Mexico: the Earthquakes of September 19^th (1985&2017)”。地空系、海洋系多位老师、学生参加了本次学术报告会。报告会中，Francisco教授还为到场师生推导了Green’s Function相关公式。报告会结束后，多位老师、学生与Francisco教授展开了深入讨论。
